Welcome to our Friday quiz!

Today we’re going to be looking at the Space Transportation System (Space Shuttle). Good Luck!

This quiz will be available, but prize eligibility will end on Sunday at midnight US EDT.

This quiz, one prize: (drawn from the high scores): One copy of our STS-1 1-DVD set. (If you already have this set I will make a substitution)

PLEASE NOTE: We do not do anything with your email address. If you click the sign up button for our newsletter, your email will be added to that list, otherwise we only ask for the email so that we may contact you in case you’re the prize winner. They aren’t kept or used in any other way.

Since we’re offering prizes we ask that you take the quiz only once, and that you do NOT use the Google machine to give us your answers. Good Luck!

Space Transportation System: You'll be challenged with 10 questions on the Space Transportation System (early Space Shuttle). Since we consider our quiz candidates to be a competent lot, but this quiz is one of our tougher tests, we've established a passing grade on this quiz of 70%. The quiz features ten questions, each worth ten points.

This wasn’t all that hard, if you’ve been watching the program continuously from STS-1 to STS-135. The Space Shuttle and I grew up and grew old together, so I knew these answers all too well.
