Take the Project Mercury Quiz!

posted in: Quizzes | 4

Welcome to our Friday quiz!

Since we’ve been featuring Project Mercury all week, we’ll continue with a quiz on: Project Mercury.

This quiz will be available, but prize eligibility will end on Sunday at midnight US EDT.

This quiz, one prize: (drawn from the high scores): One copy of our Freedom 7 set. (If you already have this set I will make a substitution)

Since we’re offering prizes we ask that you take the quiz only once, and that you do NOT use the Google machine to give us your answers. Good Luck!

The Mercury Quiz Quiz: You'll be challenged with 10 questions from the history of Project Mercury. Since we consider our quiz candidates to be a competent lot, but this quiz is one of our tougher tests, we've established a passing grade on this quiz of 70%. The quiz features ten questions, each worth ten points.

I must have done so terribly that my score didn’t even show up after the end. The only question I know I got right was #10. Looks like I need to buy the Mercury set! (More of an Apollo guy than anything else).

    Great quiz, Mark!

Thanks… I have had the quizzes set so that you get the angry message (no training for you) if you score below 70%. I just made a change to that, and now you get the answers no matter what you score. I’ll see if there are comments one way or another. In essence, that really means you only get one shot at it, since you’ll know the answers if you did below 70%. Your note (and seeing some take it several times, I suspect trying to get the answers shown) made me realize that if you don’t score over 70%, you’ll never get the correct answers. I’m unsure which way is best.

No need to change formats, Mark. I got my score in my email (30%! I’m embarrassed…). But it would be great to see which ones I missed. Hopefully this Friday’s quiz will have the kinks ironed out.

I’ve got an idea for a quiz – today is Donn Eisele’s birthday, so how about an Apollo 7 quiz?
